A series of Stream Management Guide fact sheets have been developed to educate citizens, property owners, and local government agencies about innovative, environmentally-friendly stream management techniques. There have also been a series of demonstration projects carried out around the state which apply these techniques.
Division of Water staff provides local watershed planning groups in the development of watershed plans. Technical assistance is available in the form of information regarding drainage laws and the right to dispose of excess surface water.
